Meeting up with some other hunters from Wisconsin to hunt mulies in WY this fall in Region J. As I'll be arriving to the area earlier than the others I thought I might try some fishing while scouting and waiting for the others to arrive. Any tips or areas near Region J that a guy might wet a line and pick up a fish dinner? Thanks in advance for any info.

The Laramie plains lakes are decent fishing. The Laramie river also has some nice trout. The streams and beaver ponds up high have some good fishing if you can find ones that haven't been hit hard. There are some great private lakes north of Laramie if you happen to have private access. North Crow is also decent fishing at times. If you have a lot of spare time, head up into the Snowy Range. There are several lakes and many streams that have good fishing for pan sized fish.
