Jigged and caught 3 nice Kokanee and 1 Mac yesterday

We finally had a great weather weekend here. Dolphin were thick as thieves. Put some dolphin in the box. Teased up then bait and switched a Small Blue Marlin 30ft behind the boat. One of the prettiest bait and switches on the teaser I have ever seen. He literally piled on the bait with half his body out of the water going full steam. Brought him boat side in about 30 minutes on a TLD 20!! we were stoked!

Sneaky, you better be giving up that ol bike for the stairs. I'm sure where your heading it's gonna be more like climbing stairs than riding a bike, that's for sure! Haha. You've gotta be getting ansy about now? How much longer before you head out? I know you've already told me but my memory is awful.

Old man Matt, the GMC heads north sept. 7th. I am starting to get excited but I hope the rain up north stops! A buddy just came back from BC on a stone sheep hunt and it rained everyday of his hunt! No sheep. They invited him back in three weeks. I hope to see him at the gym in the am. I hope to head to the range Sunday one last time!

I'm getting excited to (for you). I wish I could just jump in and go with. That's the kind of adventure I would love to do. On second thought just swing by the house on your way up and I will go. Lol. Maybe next year. Can't wait to hear the stories and see the pictures.

Are you hunting MT to? I'm literally trying to plan my Madison River trip as we speak. Looks like this will be my only western adventure this year, but I'm not complaining. Can't wait to get out there and land some pigs! Looking at mid to late October. Possibly thinking about hitting the Missouri while I'm up there. We'll see.

Matt, yes I'm hunting Montana. I drew a special bull elk tag in the same area we deer hunt. We should be there I think on oct. 23-4 thru nob 15th. By partner is taking his wife and daughter out there this Sunday for 4 days of scouting and showing them the area.!

Pete, it sounds like you're going to have great season of hunting. I'm anxious to hear how you do and to see photo's of some great bulls on the ground!

AK, I sure hope so, I'm trying not to count my chickens before they hatch though. I still need to get a camera, maybe tomarrow. I'm a point and shoot guy.

I was able to hit Fort Peck with my son, his best friend and his dad. We had a great day of fishing, no big walleye but fun none the less.

I just booked my flight to Bozeman today. Coming out october 21st through the 28th. Gonna slam the Madison but may try the mighty MO to. Not sure yet.

I haven't fished the Madison since I moved from Bozeman 6 years ago. I would guess the fishing should be pretty good. Post up some pics when you get home.
