Alright... So I have a set of dates, but no unit yet. My buddy and I plan to leave out 12/13 and drive over, hunting 12/15-12/20. We are both looking for a legal mule deer. No preconceived notions that either of us are going to put down a P&Y on out first trip, but I would like to see deer.
We have been looking through Google maps, on here, and reading everything we can get our hands on but have not been able to nail down a particular unit yet. Could anyone point me in the right direction? I don't want coordinates or roads or specifics hills (Unless someone wants to supply them, in which case I would be eternally grateful), but any unit information would be awesome. I have read that some units are better for Elk and Coues, while others hold more Mulies. He has looked hard at Unit 22, but all I've seen is there are few mule deer, but they are big.
Any other units we should consider in that area or in the S/SE/E portions of the state?
Thanks ahead for any information!
