The forecast for next weeks first rifle season is calling for daily highs in the mid to upper 60s. That seems extremely warm for this time of year. Just wondering how some of you seasoned vets out there see this weather impacting the hunt?
My experience in fairly warm/dry weather in rifle season is that it is imperative you be at your spot at the very first and very last shooting light. That means hiking in quietly in the dark in the morning and sneaking back out quietly in the dark in the evening.
