Well, after hiding from the 40 mph wind and dicking around all afternoon (comedy hunting video coming soon), we spotted a herd of pigs down the hill. So we ran down the hill and crawled to about 50 yards, and some A@# holes across the canyon shot and put them on high alert. Spooked one that was separate from the herd and it ran back down to them, but luckily they ran right at us and not the other way. They came over the little hill and stopped at 20 yards, picked one out, and let one fly. Made a great shot, and left a thick blood trail. Shot it at a perfect time for a good photo shoot. The New bow worked awesome. It was myself and BigSurArcher.

Nice BenHuntin. Looks like you have some nice pork for your table now. Nice being out there in the foothills, it's still green grass out on the hills. In a few more weeks it will be brown again.

Great job on popping the pork cherry!

I thought BSA land was private? was that a neighbor who busted up the herd??

That was a fun hunt. Like Ben said, we've got some inspirational video to edit and post up. Here was our lunch today...

That's awesome bud!! I have shot a few with the rifles and helped lots of friends get them as well but I have yet to put one down with my bow!! I'm super jealous... maybe this year! I like the Garrett to the side there, also a little curious why?
