Packing up last minute stuff, get groceries Wed and leave Thursday am for my antelope hunt over near Alamosa. Whats going to be long is the PT after I get my replacement shoulder in late October.CC, sorry about SC, looks like it's going to be along year! Just kidding.
Actually yes & no! I have a friend that is pretty savy on the Fords. He came over a couple of weeks ago and looked at it. He saya it need a radiator and water pump. He owns an engine shop and is ordering all the parts and is going to fix it for me,,,,when things get slow this winter. Hope to have everything running for next spring.I guess the tractor rebuild is on the shelf again?
Lol..."fine sandstones" we were talking about Indian names out there and that made me laugh. Here is a picture of the hornets nest.Matt, it was great to keep you between the ditches on your drive, which is a short drive compared to Cal- Montana but friends are friends! Like IKC,said this is what this forum is all about! By the way how come you have shown the colors on your arrows, "Bee colors" black and yellow" lol. I'm so glad you connected, and that you and fine sandstones had a great trip. CC, sorry about SC, looks like it's going to be along year! Just kidding.
Good luck CC. Can't wait for the story and pictures to follow. I know you'll bag a good one!Packing up last minute stuff, get groceries Wed and leave Thursday am for my antelope hunt over near Alamosa. Whats going to be long is the PT after I get my replacement shoulder in late October.
Hahahaha. If I do, then it won't be inside anymore. Let's just say that I needed every pair. There's always next year! Time to gear up better.Pack worked great! I love it. Plenty of room for all my stuff and more. Even had room to carry all Dan's pants... Inside joke. Sorry Dan I had to. I'll let you explain.
I couldn't agree more. Nothing like a couple southern boys gettin er done. I enjoyed the hell out of going from 11 feet above sea level to 11,200 feet!Everyone,
For me and Dan the trip worked out well. We were very compatible hunters and had a lot in common. I know sometimes these blind hunts don't work out but I think I speak for both of us when I say it was a fun good trip. Finesandtines was a good hunting partner.
It was also good seeing Roger and spending a little backporch time with him going over maps and stuff. It was nice knowing we had someone so gracious and willing to help us out. All in all it was a great SUCCESSFUL trip.
