Yep...I always look forward to College football, not too much the Pros. I played football (way back in 59,60,61) at a major Southern California university (notice the caps!) and love it. Seems to be getting a little to much with all the crap going on about all the illegal stuff. When I played we had to play frosh football and got a small stipend for expenses (which we had to work for...I cleaned the locker room and did landscape work at the school for $50.00 a month!) Lucky for me I studied real hard and got a degree & a masters too. I got injured in my Soph year and knew I needed to get my degree so I could get a good job. Been retired now for 11 years.

That was a great game wolftalonID! Lot's of good fball today. I watched my Huskers win then went dove hunting this afternoon. Almost got our limit, but got late on us. Going back out in the morning.

Leaving tomorrow AM for 2 weeks in Wyoming for my wilderness elk hunt....no tv or radio. Have to see all the scores are when I get back.

there is nothing better in this world than the fall, when football and hunting coincide. My wife hates it!! I am a BYU fan and a colts fan and it looks like it is going to be a long season rooting for them but I love the game so much that I watch pretty much watch any game on. this week is a big rival week the cougs vs the utes. I hope they don't disapoint me again like last week with texas.

Anybody here watch fcs football? I am a huge ndsu fan! I got to watch ndsu beat a bcs program in Minnesota @ their beautiful tcf bank stadium. I know bitterrootbulls is a mt st bobcats fan.

Haha, we had a lot of people give us crap, some even told us where we could buy some brown and gold. It was a good time. I can't give up the Red even though we were on the receiving end of a beat down last night. We did have a great burger at tommy jacks in laramie. I will go there again if I ever make it back there.

Looks like NDSU and MSU both won on Saturday. They should hit the polls close together this week. App State lost to Wofford. Both teams (NDSU and MSU) have some tougher competition this week (Southern Illinois and Portland State, respectively).

Hey Bitterroot looks like MSU is #3 and NDSU is #4 in one of the polls. Like you said Southern Illinois was pre season #3 in the Missouri Valley Conference and NDSU was #2 so it will be interesting to see how the game goes. Southern Illinois has struggled so far so they not be as good as people thought but it is in Carbondale Ill. I like NDSU 24-13 over S Ill this weekend. Is the game with Portland State away or home? What is your prediction on that game?

Hey Bitterroot if NDSU plays MSU in the playoffs this year we should get together and do some tailgating, hopefully it would be in Fargo
