Elk Tag in the Mail

My cow elk tag showed up in the mail yesterday. Can't wait to get out hunting this fall.

I agree with you on cow elk being excellent eating. Much better than a rutty old bull with a giant rack, not that I'd pass that bull up though.

In general I would agree but for some reason my last big bull was tremendously better than the cow my wife shot 2 days later. He is one of the best elk I have ever had... I can't say I've ever had a bad elk though. Good luck to everyone with tags this fall!

My son received his bull tag in the mail yesterday. Even though I knew he was successful in the draw I can never relax until I have the tag in hand.
