Elk outfitter recommendations

I know this is mostly a DIY forum, but hoping for some advice. After years of saving preference points I am looking to book a rifle elk hunt for my son (16) and myself, either 2024 or 2025. He will graduate high school next year and I want to make this a memory for life before he moves out.

I have hunted a couple of times with Bighorn Outfitters out of Sheridan and had a great experience, but not sure how their booking situation looks and whether our preference points (9 and 5 respectively) will be sufficient with the new regions. Any other recommendations would be much appreciated. We are looking mostly for a good hunting experience in trophy country, ideally more of a wilderness hunt than private ranch. Trophy size less important than having a good time.

Sorry I can't help, not to hijack your thread, but just a quick question.
How was bighorn and did you connect with some big bulls? Thank you!

We hunted pronhorn and very happy. I had two of my sons with me, they were pretty young at the time, like 5 and 7. There were elk and deer hunters in camp too and they had good hunts all of them.
