I appreciate the compliment. Next year will be the 30th year I have been doing Custom work. Every piece that is done is different from the previous piece so every day is a new challenge.

I was thinking men's belt buckle with the ivory myself as another possibility. That ring is awesome though, just an awesome job 25contender . You're a true artist and skilled craftsman.

I have never done a mans bracelet but I have done some ladies bracelets. I can d a mans but never had anyone ask. Mark

I can do belt buckles I would just need the belt part to do one. I dont have any photos but they lend themselves to some neat designs because of the size. Mark

Well, I received the ring in the mail today and all I can say is this thing is pretty stunning. As you could probably tell from the photos, Mark did an absolute awesome job with this thing, and it looks even better in person. I'd like to personally give my salutations to Mark and the Eastman's for putting this contest on, and I hope that it may continue in the future so we can all enjoy the stories and photos of everyone's hunts.

Thanks everyone. Tim I am glad you like the ring and hope you will enjoy it. They are quite the conservation piece. Hopefully we will be able to do it again this coming season.

Well today is the day when this project is finished.
1. This morning I finished the final setting of the Ivory. The horns have been bent back over the Ivory and another polishing was done to remove any marring from the setting process. You can see the entire ring is fully polished and ready for the detail and texture to be done.

I just thought it would be neat for hunters to have a chance to have a Elk Ivory ring. Elk hunting is a passion of mine and have been making the Elk Ivory jewelry for past 25+ years. Thought the two would go good together. Thanks for the compliment. Mark

Somewhat the same. The design would be a little different. I normally will do a drawing first for the piece. Mark
