Great work!
I found your thread because i was searching the process for setting elk ivory. My uncle sent me 4 teeth from his hunt last year. My question was what are you polishing the teeth with? flexshaft with a buff and Zam? which is my guess.... I am going to bezel set one into a ring in fine silver for him... and FYI your gold ring carving/casting is great, really nice work..... impressive detail... i know how hard that is to do and get it to fit properly over the stone.

Thank you, Tracy

I use a high speed buff and a white polishing compound yo polish them If they get dull from wear they can always be re-polished. Mark
