They extended the deadline to Feb 11th. My License was only good until the 10th. Will my application be accepted? I was going to buy another license during the deer/sheep application because it said your license must be valid on the 10th and if you buy another it must be valid on or before the 10th. I was going to try to get 2 years out of my next license but I may have cost myself a point for elk/antelope this year.

What do you guys think?

You're fine, deadline was the 10th.
The only way you can get 2 years from one license is to do points only, as you did. Buy the 2015 before the Deer draw and it will be valid for Elk application in 2016. You will need a new one to hunt Elk in 2016.

My understanding from the main draw page is that your license must be valid on the day the draw closes. If they extended it to the 11th then you may be in trouble. I would call them to verify. Looking at the website it looks like they did in fact extend it.

I wish they would get their system up to speed. Seems pretty silly to have to process every app seperately. Makes for a tedious transaction when applying for multiple people. If they would allow each applicant to apply for more than one species at a time maybe there would be less issues? I have never seen so many problems with other states like Wy, Ut, or Co. O well, hope it did not cost you your loyalty point or any point for that matter!

WapitiBob, Just to clarify, are you saying his app is still valid due to the "published/advertised" deadline being the 10th and extensions are not an issue? I hope that is right. I would hate to see someone lose points based on an extension due to their system crashing.

Why would it work for points only? I know you must buy another in order to hunt but if you don't draw then it would still work, right?
I applied for hunts but don't expect to even come close to drawing antelope and lees than 5% odds for elk. Will my app be thrown out? I think I'll just buy the license every year and not take any chances from now on.

Yes, if you don't draw it will also work. You have to buy on the last day of the current year and the following year deadline needs to be a day earlier.
