I know them like the back of my hand for the most part...Spent well over 500 days in them between summer and fall for 5 years.. Do you have horses? Cause if not, then dont even bother. Grizzlies are HEAVILY prevalent in both units, especially once snow falls they really become mobile and will follow your horse tracks step for step in the snow. . Both units get hit damn hard by resident hunters along with outfitters. The opening week or so of rifle is a down right circus. There will be people all over, both hunting from trailhead and packed way into the unit. My boss a couple falls ago counted 20 different hunters on opening morning over 12+miles from the trailhead where he hunted that day. The elk numbers are alright, but not anything great and it is Big country and the elk can be pretty spread out especially once they get banged at for the first couple weeks...I personally probably wouldnt make the trek from the Cody country, when there is some great hunting over there.
