We've used them in Wyoming and Arizona on archery elk hunts and they do help you get away with some movement by hiding behind them, especially in sparse terrain, as well as lessening tense animals when they see it. You do still need to use the wind or elk will bust you every time whether you're behind a decoy or not. I can't remember the maker of the ones my buddy in Sheridan has, but they fold up and just pop open with the metal spring gizmo that's inside them just like a lot of popup blinds.
