I bought this day pack for my recent elk hunt. I like the size but it never felt comfortable- I was not able to get the weight off my shoulders. I am about 5'10" with a 20 inch torso. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this pack?

Negative. I had one and loved it but the pockets wouldn't fit my spotting scope.

I missed it so much that I bought another and decided I'll just get a smaller spotter.

It felt like the hip belt was around my stomach rather than on my hips.

I have adjusted shoulders as needed based on weight and incline of climbing. I'm 5'10 but 32" waist never had it ride high. Have you contacted eberlestock?
