How is the bugling going in gmu 751,75 area. Also is there a large mountain lion population in the area?

Reports from the bow hunters this past month said that there was not much bugling at all. The area has been impacted by the West Fork Complex Fire earlier this summer. That is a good area and only time will tell on what the fire did. You need to call game people around the Durango/Pagosa Springs area to see what the impact was. Good Luck.

I spent 9 days in the back-country hunting mule deer......saw quite a few bulls together.....mo bugles at all.

I hunted the blackpowder season in 751, heard quite a few bugles. should have killed a nice 6x6 but hit a small cedar I did not see. ended up coming up with a nice cow.

I'm hunting in 751 second rifle season this year, it will be my first time to actually be hunting elk for myself, can't wait!
