A group of us pulled deer tags for Region Y. I've been looking around Google Earth and like the looks of Dry Forks. Anyone have any intel on this area regarding mulies? The terrain? Accessibility? Anything else?

That area is just inside the BigHorn NF up west of Sheridan and the area up there is noted more for elk than deer. There are some deer, but it's a lot tougher hunt to find them because of the dense timber and terrain compared to the southern part of Y down toward Kaycee.

Top-Gun. Dry Forks seems more open than the west side of th BHNF. That's why I liked the way it looked on google earth. Lots of timber compared to the southern part ? What is the hunting pressure like?

Nick, We also pulled Y tags. Were thinking of hunting around Kaycee for a few days and then heading north if no luck. Good Luck!!
