Draw deadline

Did everyone get they're apps in on time?!?! Now the loooong wait to hear the news
I wanted to buy raffle tickets for Caldera for elk but was afraid if I happened to win a tag that
it would mess up the other guys that attached to my application. If you win a Caldera tag, you
automatically get kicked out of the state draw. The lady that answered at VC assured me that
they would be fine but I didn't want to chance it...Oh well, hopefully I get something!!!
Good luck everyone! Lets update all the success stories once the results are out!

There's only one stinking rifle NR tag for the VC now, so I'm not even buying tickets, should help the odds for the residents.

Fired em off for Oryx, Ibex, BHS, elk and deer. All top notch units, if I could bet on not getting a tag this year, I'd bet big. It sad when your OIL orxy tag has a better chance of getting drawn than your elk or deer tag!

I know its tuff to draw as a NR these days...on a good note NM offers sooo many private land tags its not even funny sometimes! Them poor elk where I'm from get hammered HARD for 5 months straight, cause when theres not a draw hunt there's always someone hunting with landowner tags res and nonres. If you all don't draw look into one of these tags, there are plenty!

Haha, no joke! I'm trying a little reverse psychology on the draw though. Anything to gain an advantage!
