Was out scouting north of Cave Creek AZ last weekend and saw this dude. So its not a huge elk or anything too spectacular but these guys are pretty secretive. It is the first one I've seen and it walked right through the middle of my camp while I was heating up dinner. I followed it around for a while and it ended up slipping down a hole I would have bet it could never have gotten out of except I saw it the next night too.
