As a 68 year old hunter who takes arthritus meds, my blood seems thinner than it used to be. My skin also has thinned to the point that I easily bruise and bleed from minor scrapes, scratches and cuts. Hunting now includes carrying many band-aids in my pack. It seems that I can't hunt for a day without losing some blood (mostly through sratches and scrapes on my forearms). Is there any old/new product on the market than can speed clotting and healing? I don't want to wear long sleeves or noisy, heavy duty jackets when I'm bowhunting in 80 degree weather. I feel that other experienced (older) hunters may suffer the same problems as I do. Anyone have a suggestion?
