checkout @liberalgunclub on facebook/twitter, I think they have the sense for both sides, liberals who don't want gun restrictions etc...

might be a way both sides to come to the table.
you can not come to the table with a liberal !

we have already infringed on the second far more then we ever should havethey cry restrictions ,we restric.

NO MORE!!

there is no compromise that will be enough!!

PS- I heard the shooter used a .45

couldn't help but think, not an AR15, nor a 9mm high capacity pistol, unless he had big extended mags..?
ie., won't fit the standard coverage/gun...
they said he used an illegal "clip". lol

That is basically what the law will be or perhaps should be.

But it could come down to a relative saying that uncle Joe is wacky and they tell that to a judge who then issues a order to take away uncle Joe's firearms until they send a social worker or someone else out to check out why they think that uncle Joe is wacky.

It could be a very slippery slope depending on how they write the law.
you can bet ,when they write the law ,it will not be a slippery slope but a full on cliff.

It is all going to depend on how the law is written. If the vet is diagnosed with PTSD they may have it set up that it automaticly goes to a judge who may or may not have the sheriff show up. It is all up in the air right now so we'll have to see as they get into session next year and what they come up with.

But remember it is the Democrats with a Democrat Governor that passed all the restrictions on purchasing a few years ago here in Colorado and I don't expect any different this coming legislature session.
