Disabled Veteran Licenses

Got my new hunting booklet Friday and noticed a change in the requirements for a disabled veteran license. If you are rated 50% or greater disabled, you are now able to get a lifetime small game and fishing license combo for free, just apply with the proper documentation. The old disability rating was 60%. Check the booklet at the bottom of page 7. Mine goes in the mail tomorrow. I already have a disabled veteran plate for my truck which is also free.

And just when you figure that the state government has gone to pot they do something nice.

While it isn't much it does save you a few bucks each year.

WY gives you a free fishing license if your over 50%. For residents only.

Colorado did sell a senior fishing license for $1 until one of our state leglesatures decided we needed to pay more, so they raised it up to $7

Received my lifetime disabled veteran Colorado Smallgame/fFshing Combo License, and lifetime Parks Pass today.
