Deer Backdoor is open

The season is late this year, Nov 5-13, so there's a good chance for snow and maybe some early rutting activity
Looking through my log the past few years......I have comments on Nov 12-14 that the deer are starting to rut hard and are paired up with large numbers of does. I think its very safe to say this year " find the girls and the boys will be close by"

Congrats to all who will be chasing deer this fall.
Interesting to see the trends it seems to be huge point creep in some area's while others did not change. The additional deer tags had to have helped point creep some what.
Where I am at moisture this spring has been great and the bucks are just about out to their first fork. Spring vegetation growth has been great with all the water. After checking out some bucks the past couple of days I would say there are going to be some real healthy bucks out there to chase around..

Do I check backdoor in the Buy/Apply online section by entering all my data, and going to deer? Where does the code change show? I have been in there many times, my fear is that if I don't see it jumping out at me that that means bad news??

I just saw that my Elk points disappeared today, so they are starting the draw process. I don't know how long it was from the time the deer points disappeared to the time the codes changed, but someone on here knows that answer.

Yes, the buy/apply. Click through to the purchase habit stamp page and then scroll down until you see the list of all your applications in Blue.

Thank you, so if my hunt codes showing currently, are the same as at time of application, I was not selected correct?

Yes, if you don't have any 500 codes for the animals that you put in for you didn't draw. I don't believe that elk is up yet, perhaps Monday.

Thank you, I was hoping for a miracle that possibly only certain units were showing, and the unit I applied for with my daughter may not have been showing yet.

The main draw for deer is over for all choices 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. If you marked on your application that you want to be considered for the leftover draw you should be notified sometime in the near future. Then comes the final chance to purchase a limited tag over the counter in August I believe.
