I know camo is an overrated item in most situations; if I undertand the history correctly, Fred Bear killed a whole lot of game with a recurve bow, blue jeans, and a flannel shirt. However, I got into wanting some ASAT camo (based on my research, it actually works) and couldn't let it go. Problem was, all the stuff in ASAT looked like overseas junk.
After some digging, I found out about a company out of Englewood, CO called "Day One Camo." Just got my order yesterday and I am real excited to try it out. I got the pull over shirt with the optics holder and the krusher hat, both in light fleece.
Since for me, Sitka gear is not just expensive, it is unaffordable (and their products are made in China), this seemed like a good alternative. Plus, when you call the 303 area code number on the website, you get the guy in charge, not some phone tree or a sales rep that has no idea whats going on. That alone is worth a lot to me.
Anyone that has had real experience with this company's products, please chime in. I'm particularly curious if anyone has been disappointed and why.
