I hunted D7 for 50 years and it produced some bucks like yours. Lots of people think California does have big mule deer, but all you have to do is work hard at it and this is what you can come up with.

Yes sir! There are some big ones out there, but they seem few and far between. Hopefully this won't be my last big buck. I enjoy the challenge of hunting my local zones that see so much pressure.

So i scored him and it came out to 143. Pretty darn good for this zone and especially for me personally! Best part is there were other bucks with him in the area and I'm hoping will return next year!
