If I had the choice between the 2 it would be Craig. Just for the reason of what is there. I know it's not Wyoming, but Baggs is really just a "wide spot" in the road. Hardly any shopping, a motel or 2, restaurant or 2, gas station or 2 and not a lot more. They had a sort of boom in town several years ago when the oil/gas work took off.

Craig on the other hand would seem to by a big city when compared to Baggs. Definitely a lot more to do, more shopping, etc and lots more people. If you are married with a family, I am sure you probably would pick Craig just because of the schools & medical availability.

Unless you work in the oil/gas industry or are a cowboy, it would be pretty hard to earn a decent living in Baggs.

Gypsum,
I certainly don't live there but I have spent a lot of time in that area hunting and went back for a couple of visits.
I was thinking exactly what CC passed along and he should know.

I might have to move out to CO myself in a few years.
Craig is one of my 5 possible locations.
I'm not too keen on any of the recent politics, policies, and gun incentives but that is the entire state.
I guess it comes down to employment. If you like a wide dry spot in the road take Baggs.
If you like a little more people (still small town) take Craig.

It found its place at option 3 when we were visiting and my wife said "I could live here"
That doesn't happen often since we already live in an awesome location.

Well I'm looking g at buying a ranch there so if it does to through I will transfer jobs to craig. The ranch on the other hand is 22 miles N or Craig and 18 miles S of baggs. Do if be in the middle of the two with no one else around but still decently close to craig for shopping and stuff

Definitely the right move. If you were to move to Baggs, you would do all your shopping at Craig anyway.. Hope it works out for you.

Sorry, I haven't done any "loving" in that specific area, so I can't be much help. Here are a few things that I have found that help where ever you are:

1) Make sure you shower, shave and use deodorant.
2) Open the car door.
3) A gift or flowers can help. Make sure you don't cut them from her yard though.
4) Give her compliments like telling her how beautiful she is.
5) Make sure you clean the garbage off of the passenger side seat and floorboard of your rig so she has a place to sit.
6) Chew with your mouth closed.
7) Open your mouth (when food is not in it) and talk to her. They like to be talked to.
8) Don't post on Eastman's on your cell phone when on a date.

;)

It's official I will be moving there mid July, I won't be hunting there this year because of my unit 44 tags. But I'm buying a ranch north of Craig, and went both feet in in this one. Only real time I've spent in the town was for rodeos
