I've read all kinds of things about different vocalizations that cows make - estrous calling, socialization calling, etc. This is my first time hunting during the rut (hopefully anyway), so I am up in the air with what to do.
What types of calling sequences have actually worked for you? How many calls in a series? How frequenty do you call? If they're calling, are you matching them in frequency, pitch, etc? What if you're sneaking around on a bench still hunting, how frequent do you call or do you move without calling?
