Do the core4 base layers run pretty much to size? I'm kind of in between XL and 2XL. Should I buy them to fit tightly or normal?

That goes for any of the wool stuff on the fit actually, tight or normal? I'm also looking at KUIU and FL as well. Choices choices!! Thanks in advance.

Also......any preference for the Core4 190 over the KUIU 185? Those are the two I am leaning towards.....

I'm 6'4" and 210. The core 4 XL merino base layers fit me a little to snug after I washed them. My smartwool didn't shrink up like the Core4. I prefer Smartwool...JMO. Haven't tried Kuiu or First Lite. Hope this helps.

If you're looking at the core 4 items, keep an eye on camofire. They are frequently putting their items on there for discount prices.

I love my core4 190 Merino, I have not had a problem with them shrinking when washed (washed in cold water and air dried) I like my base layer tight so it can wick moisture away quickly. Give the guys at Camofire.com a call and they will answer any questions you have about Core4 or Sitka and let you know sizing, hope this helps.

Thanks, I seen a Core4 190 top on Camofire last night. I just don't know enough about it yet to "pull the trigger". I read about KUIU all night. I'll do the Core4 reading today so next time one comes up on CF, I'll be ready. Thanks again!
