I gotta say it was alot harder to decide then I expected it would be. Alot of good stories guys! I basically used process of elimination. I considered photo quality, story quality, quality of the overall experience I felt were portrayed in the story and pics, and if I felt the contest rules were followed. I did not really consider trophy size. I used Eastmans tips on getting your story published as a guideline and I also considered what ones I thought would be most likely to be published.

Seems like MM was a little more thourough than I. I thought it was hard, but I went with the story I liked the best and the best pictures. I also didn't really put any weight on trophy quality.

For the ring contest I voted for who I think had the best photos and who had a well written story and followed the Eastman's guidelines to submitting stories. Great job on both.

For the submission to be in the magazine I went with the best story and more importantly the best photos. I did really enjoy the story too. Trophy quality is not a big deal either for me. Great job on the entries everyone!
