Gonna be headed to unit 53 in Colorado for elk and I was wondering if anyone has hunted this unit before and if they have any info on it? We will be hunting the 4th season which is in mid November.

Can't help you with details but it will be COLD. Take all of your cold weather gear with you. There will be snow most likely.
I hunted that season last year and shot a nice 5x6 opening morning at 8:00. The bulls where starting to separate from the cows. Most of the bigger bulls were alone. The spikes were still with the cows.
