Just got back from 4 days up in the Mts hunting for deer. No luck, but did see some fresh sign(poop that was unfrozen at 8am) plus fresh tracks, but only ever saw does.
Did see some guys driving around in their truck on some ATV roads going 30 to 40mph chasing a group of 5 does around. 1st saw the deer running, then saw the truck slam to a hault and out jump 2 or 3 guys shooting like crazy(at least 4 or 5 shots) Then back into the truck to continue chasing these deer (all shots were at a moving target as well). Then they drove past me and right up on another guy who was sitting on a ridgeline, but never did catch up to the deer again.
Was slightly annoying to see this happen, but then i figure if i dont want other hunters driving their trucks or atv's up on me then i shouldn't be hunting right off an ATV trail.
The other guy they drove up on was downright pissed, talked to him for a moment after they blew his spot up and he was not pleased. Didnt want to tell him my revelation because it was what it was at that point.
Heading back up again for this weekend, trying a couple new areas, hopefully get into some deer.
