Successful in Wyoming Elk draw... So just put in for Colorado Elk/Deer/Speed Goat points only today. I'd pay the extra to just put the dang Sheep tag on credit card to get it all done in one whack! What a pain every year...

I'm damn excited for the CO draw this year. I have 17 sheep points and 14 deer points, so I have very high hopes!!

I'm still trying to make up my mind on which units. I have 7 deer pts and 4 elk pts and feel like that is kind of no mans land so to speak. Especially with elk, not even close to enough for a high demand hunt, but more than necessary for some other hunts, I've been leaning towards a couple MZ hunts that interest me(62 or 21), but I have no experience in either unit and I'm a little apprehensive of the private in 21. I think I'm gonna burn both deer and elk on something though, it's time to get back to CO for sure! Any thoughts? No points for the big 3, so I'll have to live through all your stories and pics when you draw this year!

I got 50/50 chances for premium deer & elk tags in AZ, UT & OR so I'm afraid I have to point save everything in CO except sheep. The reason being since I waited so many years for these three I feel like I should not compromise my time by trying to do a combo with something else (except for sheep anywhere of course). Only thing is I failed to draw anything in similar situation in the past.

Good luck Zim hope the strategy works out. I would feel the same way not wanting to draw a colorado tag and one of those others and have to split my time up.

Got mine in this weekend. Going for just a deer point to put towards 55 archery eventually. Hopefully get the archery elk for 55 this year to start learning the area! I know it is a huge unit gotta be some game in there somewhere.
