I drew my muzzleloader tag and my wife drew a 4th season buck tag!

Mine went to zero as well. Another high-country archery mule deer hunt. Hopefully, I'll be able to make it (depending on if a draw for NV& UT archery deer and CA Tule elk). Either way, I'll be having some fun this year.

I drew the 25/26 4th season deer hunt. I keep telling myself every year that I need to hunt Colorado for deer. Beautiful country and great deer hunting. I keep not choosing to draw and this year tried to draw a hunt. I'm excited as I have never killed a big mule deer. When I was a kid I would drool at my dads friends houses where they had a wall of bucks mounted from the sizes of nice deer all the way up to monsters. Hopefully I can pull a nice deer out of there this year and then draw every 1-3 years from here on out and supplement that with landowner tags in between.

I am on a deployment. Last time I was in this situationI called and they let me know if there were any tags left for GMU 40 and for which season. Maybe I'll get lucky.
