Curious what everyone's thoughts are on the impact of higher application fees in relation to number of applicants. I was doing some looking at past applicants/draw results for my 4th season hunt and the number of applicants/successful draws has went up every year since i first applied in 2015. I have to believe that it will go back the other way with the new fees as people will wait and by leftover?

I dont think it will have any effect at all. People hunt because they enjoy to. 99.9% of people will find ways to come up with a few hundreds dollars to keep doing the things they love.

I think that you might see a upswing in applications this year for units that non residents can draw with lesser points just to get out of the point game.

I have heard a lot of complaining on a couple of forums about the requirement to purchase a license plus the application fee.
