April 7 is rapidly approaching. Important date for your application for a big game hunting permit. Also probably deer in Wyoming.

I am applying for Deer and Antelope and a point for Elk. What are you plans?

I don't know why but I picked up another elk and pronghorn point here in Colorado and put in for my muzzle loader deer tag that I should draw.
I'll have 15 pronghorn points going into next years draw so I need to figure out where I want to go hunt them here in Colorado. I'll wait for the left overs tags to show up and see if any elk areas interest me, other than that I'll think about a OTC bull tag.

I'm still on the fence on what I am going to do in Utah. I'll have my general season deer tag and will put in for a late season HAM's tag (that's what I think they call it) I'll look and see if I'm close to a pronghorn area and try that again. Then there is the bison hunt. Since they raised the price to just under $5,000 I'm wondering if it is worth it. I have enough points for a cow tag but want a bull. The unit that I put in for last year didn't have any NR tags in the draw so last year was a waste. The tag numbers come out right at the end of the draw period so most of the time you never know going into the draw if there is a tag or not.
