Is Elk still showing the 400's or if drawn, would this be 500's now?
You don't even have to know the codes. Once you've drawn you'll have 2 lines for the same animal (deer, elk, whatever). One is your tag, and the other is your application with "app" at the end of the line.

For example:

2016 - 491 NON RES DEER APP
2016 - 591 NON RES DEER

Back door is open now for elk. My 15 yr old son drew a muzzy cow tag for GMU 14 / 214.

580 elk codes for my 72 yr old father (archery), Brother (fingers crossed muzzy), Wife (first rifle), and myself (archery). It helps all but my brother put in for 0-1 point units and my Brother will either be real happy or he drew his 2nd choice that was guaranteed. Anyway we all have tags.

Should be a good fall hunting with the family/kidos and hopefully a full freezer or two of meat for the winter.

Good luck this year to all that have a tag in your pocket.

Yep the elk are posted. Wife did not draw a deer or elk this year but I drew a ML cow tag and a 2nd season buck tag. If moose is done looks like another point.

No elk! Only had a small chance to draw, but always hoping. So far nothing for me. No sheep, moose or elk, Deer I only applied for a point. I should draw my antelope tag, so waiting to see.
