Are you sure that your buddy drew a 61 muzzy with only 5 points. I had the tag 2 years ago and it took a resident a minimum of 15 points for a bull tag on the muzzle loader and I can't imagine it going down to 5.

That is the first hybrid tag that I have heard being drawn. I thought they were a myth...

I know a couple of hunters that have draw them but they are quite rare, about like that 500" elk.

I drew a hybrid antelope tag in 2012. Unit 3, needed 15 pts and I had 10. Yep , I have never heard of another one for any species.

Whoa... that's a lot of points! I hope you find what your looking for and have a great hunt after waiting that long. I'll be interested to see how that new early rifle season turns out too.

Just checked mine....YES!!! Drew my unit choice, used my 15 points. Finally found a unit I was willing to spend them on. Been building antelope points since I moved here 16 years ago.
