Wish you luck. I drew that tag last year and did some scouting on my way to Wyoming. Was pretty dry and didn't see as many goats as I have in the past. But only spent a day and a half, so who knows. Unfortunately I didn't get to hunt as I got a call while in Wyoming hunting that my Dad was very ill. Turned in my tag before season opened....got all my points back. This yeay I applied for points only as I am hunting out of state...leave in 2 weeks.
Keep us posted on how you do as this is a really good area and is tough to draw, takes 13 pts or more.
Looks like you "found him" to me! Pretty nice one...Hi All, Havn't been on in a while. Been scouting a 13 year tag! Havn;t found him yet!
How many points?Looks like there's a few to choose from. Should make for a great hunt! Is there plenty of public land in 3/301? I have a bunch of antelope points to burn sooner or later...
Can't remember for sure. I'd have to go look. Closer to 10 than 13...How many points?
This unit has suffered some "point creep". A couple of years ago it took about 10. Yes lots of public land ( a rarity for Colorado antelope units).
Not sure I can wait that long as I'll be 72 next month and it took at least 15 res ppoints this year. I now have 12, with some point creek, I may never have enough to draw it.Being a local here, I think a guy should hold out for 2/201, it also has way more public land and although i personally believe it has fewer antelope, I think the quality is still higher than 3/301
Well , if you do get a chance to hit 3/301, best of luck, hit me up if you want some company. I'll be sure to share my results! Not sure I can wait that long as I'll be 72 next month and it took at least 15 res ppoints this year.
