I buy either Caribou or Green Mountain medium roast k cups for home use. In the mountains, the little starbucks instant coffe pouches. When I brew a whole pot, I'm with Bwana, the old school percolator is the only way to go.
Also, black coffee only, no flavorings no sugar, no nuthin.

Folgers classic roast at home. At camp I like the instant Folgers crystals in an old fashioned percolator. If in the back country, I have 2 or three different single use types. Absolutely have to have some kind of a sweetner, 99% of the time that would be sugar....and too much of it at that.

Ever since I started to work for an Itailian company I can't stand the American dirty (dish) water as they call that we serve in North America. Just too weak.
My rocket fuel is Lavazza Rosa made with a Bialetti stove top.

I grew up drinking machine shop coffee with oily swirls on it in a Styrofoam cup..........then I moved to PNW and it was like Paul on the road to Damascus. Now it's Caf? Mam from Costa Rica ground and brewed Turkish-style, Vietnamese-style (sans condensed milk), French press at home and a drip filter straight into the mug at 4 am before stalking Oregon mule deer with a recurve in the sage. Life is too short for bad coffee. The Starbucks Via packets will work when backpacking, although they are burnt tasting. Do yourself a favor and drink good coffee. :)

Loveland, CO. was AZ.
Camping/Hunting I pour Gevalia grounds (medium blend) into my percolator. Love camp coffee. In the evenings may sip some coffee with Bailey’s Irish Cream. Nice way to wind down.
