Chiili time!

A little early yet but with another cold front pushing in bringing rain and snow with it, and being how I have some fresh moose meat I made some chilli! Deer(whitetail and mulie) elk and moose.

Looks good! I like my chili with a chunk of cornbread or sourdough bread.

I made a batch a few days ago. I'm down to 5 packages of steaks, and 5 pounds of meat for jerky, and then I'm out of deer. Just in time to go shoot another one!

I made a big batch last weekend, ground elk and duck breast chunks. The intent was to freeze it all for my upcoming trip, but my daughter loves my chili so less went into the freezer than I was hoping.

It was good. No kidding on the food being another trophy to the hunt! My ears hurt when I hear people say they don't like wild game. I think it might even be a sin.

GOT A POT OF CHILI GOING now. with some deer burger,elk stew meat, a lil bit o this an a lil bit o that. still simmering for a few more hours but just took a taste an it eez goood.
