It was bound to happen, non residents will have to start putting in for a draw for some tags in Idaho.

Colorado is looking at a non resident draw for all elk tags, but for now that is just a rumor.

Looks like they will have to apply for every tag. No more otc tags to non-residents, for deer, elk, and antelope.

Colorado cut the number of all tags (deer, elk and antelope) in the NW section of the state because of severe winter and resulting winterkill. It is in effect for 2 years. There is lots of information in the new big game brochure I received in the mail yesterday.(also available online) I recommend Colorado hunters read it.

they should make all non-resident hunts preference point draws and leave resident draws lotto draws as an experiment. all states should make the nons ,pay to play.
