After decades of trying I finally got it done. Called this bull into 20 yards and made the right shot.

I don't have a lot of pictures, I wasn't carrying a camera. I have hunted this spot so many time in the last 20 years I can't tell you, the last 8 have primarily been archery. Its a very low success rate general unit, just finding elk is hard to do. An average day is 6-10 miles of blow down in thick timber and very few elk. I have had several close calls but have never sealed the deal, yesterday the stars lined up for me. This is the second largest bull I've ever seen up there. I sure would have liked to get the biggest one, I guess I'll keep trying
