Didn't you draw 2 tags in NM last year? I guess you used up all your luck there like I did. I haven't drawn anything good since I drew NM in 2015.

Im a NR so it must be deer (either 13B rifle or 12B west late)

I wasn't saying you were whining lol. I was just saying NM sucked up all of our tag drawing luck.

My luck just changed yesterday though: I drew the best Alligator tag in the state! Man I'm pumped, alligator hunting is an adrenaline filled blast!

I'm just lucky. My job is very independent. I work for a government contractor and get all my field work done in advance of a hunt. Then just take my files with me and enter data wherever I find wifi along my trip. I have no kids at home and my wife lives in China until next year when she retires. My boss lives in Denver and I've seen him three times in ten years. But I pay before a hunt by working a lot of nights and weekends to get ahead.

In addition to my two AZ hunts I got a WY lope tag and Iowa archery deer tag. Plus two special firearm tags for Illinois public properties. Been perhaps my best draw year ever.

Congrats on drawing a great tag. Both units should have chances for a bruiser. Hunted 12ae last year. No luck, but saw lots of deer until they disappeared on me and the season ended.
