My wife myself and one of my best friends that I grew up with are leaving the 3rd April for south Africa to shoot a cape buffalo to say we are starting to get excited is an understatement. The last couple of months has been very hectic as we have moved to rifle and both started new jobs. Now it's full speed ahead for Africa 10 days Safari and then we're going to visit Krueger for 3 days.
Going to be awesome.

Good luck on your hunt it sounds like it could be quite the adventure.

I have a friend over in Thornton that is looking at a cape buffalo hunt. He was over in Africa last spring on a plains game hunt and just had to go back. I still need to collect a warthog and possibly a zebra.

My buddy from AZ went to Africa and got a Cape Buffalo a few years back. He got the hide made into leather and had a few rifle straps and belts made for us; I put my rifle strap on my Marlin 45-70. He used a 375.

Are you hand loading those 350's? I have some 350gr. North Forks on my shelf but have never loaded them. What powder?

Have a great and safe hunt!
