Can't wait to use the wall tent I picked up on craigslist!

I had to share my excitement of getting my first wall tent. I've been watching craigslist and Cabela's bargain bin for about 6 months now with no luck. I had found a place online for a new one but was going to cost about 1500 bucks. I happened to see one in my area on craigslist the other day and called the guy right away. I ended up getting a 12 by 17 montana canvas with Cabela's tags on it. Has all the frame pieces, stakes, ropes and all. Has a separate floor and even came with the wood stove and pipe. Its in great shape with no holes and even had all the original pack bags for the stuff. Got if for 500 bucks. Can't wait to use it this year for elk and deer hunting.

I've never had a wall tent but they sure look warm and comfortable especially with wood stove and cots.

Great deal! I got my first one a few years back and there great.
As unfun as it sounds do yourself a favor and set the thing up in your yard a few times before season starts.
I still do this every year and when its hunting season my tent setup is short and sweet because I actually know how to do it.
Seen guys actual set theirs up for the first time on the mountain , only to resize they forgot something, or forgot to buy something, or where missing something.
I'm always shocked that they planned on living in it for a week, but had no clue what it even looked like execpt a picture on the website they bought it from.

Thanks for the advice Go Deep. I'll plan on doing that. Plus I was to make sure my cots and cooking set up will all fit. Sneakypete, I'm hoping that happens this year. I'll post some pics for sure.
