Just wanted to drop in and actually introduce myself, I've been stalking the Eastman's forums for a few months now soaking up all the knowledge I can. I was born and raised in Wyo, before moving to southern California. There is practically zero large game hunting in So Cal. mostly upland bird, varmint, very little decent area to do any hunting. No space, too many people. Looking forward to getting back to my home state and others do whatI love. I love learning and hearing about everyone's trips and advice. Planning my first Elk hunt in over 10 years. I was unsuccessful in drawing a tag for WY this year. looking to CO with an OTC tag. Thanks guys!!

......I know your pain though I spent a good deal of time in San Diego and some more time up in Lemoore.....I got into the Sierras as much as I could and made a few trips up north to the Shasta Region and Yreka. Welcome!

Welcome wyocowboy. I can imagine things would be tough in SoCal - miles of urban landscape and desert.
Sorry you didn't draw Wyo this year. I also put in for Wyo but didn't pull a tag.
I hunted Colo OTC archery last year for elk - awfully slow but saw some nice country, lots of slow elk and sheep, too.
