Looks like A1 for me......going to be a lowball year for deer. Still maxed out on points for sheep and elk. Getting close with 8 antelope points but not this year.

Welcome to the forum. On this forum A few others and I have been hunting d14 for a long time now, it's a tough zone with low Success. The key to success is tons of scouting and time in the mountains. Even then is still a tough hunt. Good luck
Thanks man. Yeah I'm For sure going to try to scout as much as I can. I'm determined to conquer that zone lol.

Really lucked out and hit the jackpot this year, drew the northeastern bull Elk tag and the X2 Mule Deer tag. Hoping to get some info from any other hunters who may have hunted Elk in that neck of the woods. I'm not asking for any honey holes I would just like to know where to start looking for Elk. This is the largest Elk unit in California so any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I put in for Idaho Bull Elk, Colorado Deer, all Utah Premium Hunts, and all california premium hunts and All I got was D-14 tag.....Guess I shouldnt complain at least I got something. On a good note I'll be helping my buddy fill his muzzle loader Bishop Bull tag...
