Frustrating......argh!!! Tried to go online to buy my hunting lisc & deer tag for D7. Won't take my online ap because it says I don't have hunter safety cert on record. Called them and they don't have one on file....I taught it for years there! Also I have previous Cal Hunting Lisc, which means that I don't need Hunter Safety anyway....they don't have a record of the lisc #'s I have....all "pre computer". I have to fax them everything. What a bunch of crappola!!!

That does suck CC, one more hassle you probably don't need. Colorado also has it's challenges with there hunters safety requirement. I have hunted Colorado many times throughout the years and still need to submit my HSC # on every license app. You would think they would keep it on record just like your CID #. I don't get that one.......

Woohoo! I applied for X10, with X9C as my second choice and D8 as my third, plus I picked up a D8 second.

X10 would be very nice, I can walk the mile to the eastern border of the zone from my house :). Getting back into the hills is another matter, I'd most likely hoof it in from Indian Wells Valley, but that's only a ten minute drive.

That said, this is my first time applying for X10, so I'm not expecting to get it.

Cc dont sweat. I had to do a lot of hunting license fixes. Just have to talk to the right person they will give you a code to put into the system that instantly fixes the issue

Just so ya know, it's impossible to get X9C on your second choice. Ever since they cut the tag quota in half in 2003, that's kinda been the case.

I expect as much, I don't expect to get X10 either, but I was already applying for a special zone anyways and I get a third choice, so if I don't get either of those, no big deal. That's why I put D8 as my third choice - pretty much guaranteed to get that, so I can't lose :)

Hey EHF members- I haven't applied in CA before- Do any of you residents know if my math is correct to apply for a premium deer tag? I would first need to purchase a Non-Res Lic. at $160, then fork over $269 non-refundable to apply. Is this correct?
