Dear Fellas,
I was lucky enough to draw a Marble Mountains Elk this year and I'm doing some research, wondering if anybody would like to share their experience in the area. I am planning to spend at least one week with deer/bear archery in the area before elk season starts but the main reason I will do archery hunting there is to scout for elk. I have hunted deer in the area once but never saw any elk. I am planning to do DIY and have a few people ready to pack the meat out if I get it but I would prefer to hire somebody to pack the meat out if I find some good packers in the area.
Any help would be appreciated and I can share my experience with future hunters as I don't think that I will be able to get a tag for the area in near future.
