Ca Archery Bear

I didn’t get one but rifle opens Oct 11.
I did get close. 50 yards on this bear and 40 on another. Medium size bears but I was looking for a blond or a big chocolate. I got close to another bear but it was a small chocolate. I’ll try to post a few videos and see if they work.

I got to 40 on this one but I was waiting for a broadside shot. Could have tried a frontal for 5-8 minutes while he was feeding but I’m not that great and archery yet to try that kind of shot. The wind busted me just as he stood up. I was at full draw but didn’t have time to make a clean shot.
